Deadline: Poinsettia Project for Veterans, Order by Nov. 17

The Heritage Garden Club of Durham is once again raising monies from the community for their Annual Poinsettia Project for Veterans at the Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center Chapel. Poinsettias are purchased in honor or memorial to veterans with a special card for that veteran, and the poinsettias decorate the VA Chapel from Thanksgiving through New Years. The potted poinsettias are then given to residents of the VA hospital for a keepsake.

In 2015, the Heritage Garden Club sold over 125 poinsettias for veterans.

Orders with payment must be received by Nov. 17.
