Garden Club of North Carolina Gives 7 Awards to Durham Clubs at 2014 Annual Meeting

The Durham Council of Garden Clubs made a strong showing with two of its member clubs, Croasdaile and Heritage Garden Clubs earning seven awards from the Garden Club of North Carolina at its Annual Meeting held in Winston Salem, April 13-15.

Blue - #101 Heritage of Durham for Garden Therapy 1st Place + $25
Red - #17 Public School Beautification Award - 2nd

Heritage Garden Club
#66 Charlotte Council Education Award - 1st Place - $50
#160 Mary Ellen Penn Design Program Award 1st Place - $25
#162 Slide, Power Point, Video Program - 1 st Place - $25
#163 Youth Gardeners Program Award 1st Place - $25

#19 Gertrude Thomas Award for Civic Development - 2nd Place
